Joohi Smita Sinha has assumed charge as the Chief General Manager (CGM) of SBI’s Bengaluru circle covering entire Karnataka.
She was earlier Chief General Manager (Organisational Planning and System & Procedures) at SBI, Corporate Centre, Mumbai.
Bengaluru Circle, which consists of SBI’s operations in Karnataka with 1700 plus branches/offices, manages a balance sheet of more than Rs.4,90,000 crore.
Sinha joined SBI as probationary officer in 1995 and has worked across sectors such as retail banking, corporate banking and human resources over the past 29 years.
