Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) got the better of Delhi Capitals (DC) by six wickets and nine deliveries to spare at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, April 27. This win was RCB's third consecutive victory of the ongoing (Indian Premier League) season.
Abishek Porel got off to a fine start but was dismissed after making 28 off 11. Karun Nair followed shortly, making his way back for a run-a-ball four. Faf du Plessis's struggles ended before the halfway stage. Du Plessis scored just 22 off 26. KL Rahul (41 off 39) and Ashutosh Sharma (2 off 3) fell in the 17th over. DC posted 162/8 after Tristan Stubbs' late 18-ball 34-run surge. Bhuvneshwar Kumar claimed 3/33 in his four-over quota, while Suyash Sharma conceded just 22 in his four overs.
RCB’s run chase started slowly. The visitors scored only 35 in their powerplay. Axar Patel struck twice to get rid of Jacob Bethell (12 off six) and Devdutt Padikkal (zero off two). However, Krunal Pandya (73* off 47) and Virat Kohli (51 off 47) steadied the ship with a 119-run stand between them. Krunal ended up clinching the win with Tim David (19* off 5).

A classic case of hesitancy and miscommunication brought about the end of Rajat Patidar at the non-striker's end. Patidar was well short of his ground. Karun Nair's throw from midwicket was as accurate as it could get, with RCB in all sorts of trouble.

Krunal Pandya came in to bat after RCB lost their third wicket inside the powerplay. His promotion paid off greatly. Krunal's batting was nothing short of spectacular. He scored all around the ground, with his most productive shot being the flick.
Hello KRUNAL PANDYA, TAKE A BOW. 🙇♂️♥️
