Thootukudi (Tamil Nadu) [India], October 10 (ANI): A fire broke out at the railway extension worksite in Tamil Nadu's Thootukudi on Thursday.
Firefighting teams reached to spot to bring the fire under control. Firefighting operations are underway.
No loss of lives were reported in the incident. Further details are awaited.
Earlier, in August, two people were severely injured after firecrackers stored illegally in a cowshed exploded near the Sivakasi area of the Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu, said the fire & rescue department of Sivakasi on Sunday.
"Two people were seriously injured when firecrackers stored illegally in a cowshed near Sivakasi exploded. The injured are undergoing treatment in the Sivakasi government hospital. The Vembakkottai police have registered a case and are investigating the incident," said the fire & rescue department of Sivakasi. (ANI)
