Ajay Devgn’s latest release, Son Of Sardaar 2, has been getting abysmal reviews and reactions from critics and audiences since its release.

Yes, Son Of Sardaar 2 is pitted against Dhadak 2 and in this age of aggressive PR marketing, one can not fully deny the probability of negative promotions for a movie by the makers of another movie.

In an interesting turn of events, some fake negative’reviews reached the leading star of Son Of Sardaar 2, Mrunal Thakur,and she also reacted to them.

The ‘fake’ negative reviews

Two different YouTube channels recently uploaded reviews of Son of Sardaar 2, featuring the same man criticising the film, albeit in different outfits. Eagle-eyed fans quickly spotted this inconsistency and shared clips on social media, accusing it of being part of a ‘paid negative campaign’ aimed at tarnishing the movie’s reputation.

Always Bollywood posted the videos and wrote, “If you didn’t like the movie, why did you watch it 2 times - in different theatres & wearing different shirts? Something seems fishy looks like it was recorded intentionally just to spread the negativity of the film.”

Mrunal Thakur’s reaction to fake negative reviews

Reacting to the clips, Mrunal Thakur replied, “Omg, please dont do this guys! This breaks my heart.”

Not only this, Mrunal also replied to one of the social media users who called her performance ‘ghatiya’ in the movie.

One user tagged Mrunal and wrote, “what a ghatiya wahiyat film #SonOfSardaar2. MrunalThakur please stop acting.”
