According to the rules set by the government, many women taking benefit in this scheme may have to suffer loss. Because the government has now reduced the benefit of Rs 1500 given to many women to Rs 500 only. Let us tell you. These women will get only 500 rupees
Recently, a big change has been made by the Maharashtra government regarding the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme. Let us tell you that the Maharashtra government gives Rs 1500 every month to the women taking benefit in this scheme. But now the 8 lakh women taking benefit in this scheme will get only 500 rupees instead of 1500 rupees. Actually, under the rules set in the scheme, only those women will be given benefit in the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme.
Who are not taking benefit of up to Rs 1500 under other schemes run by the government. But some beneficiary women of the state's Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme are taking benefit of Rs 1000 through the Namo Shetkari scheme run by the government. Therefore, now these women will be given a benefit of only Rs 500 in the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme.
These women will continue to get Rs 1500
Women who are not taking any benefit through Namo Shetkari Yojana or any other scheme of the Maharashtra Government. Those women will continue to get an amount of Rs 1500 every month as before. Let us tell you that according to the data released under October 2024, a total of 2.60 lakh crore women in the state were eligible to get benefits through Ladki Behan Yojana. But after the formation of Mahayuti government again, the eligibility of the beneficiary women taking benefit in the scheme was reviewed and according to the criteria, the names of many women were removed from the scheme. Now only 2.42 crore women are left in the list.
