However, even though the physical branches may be closed during this time, customers will be able to use online banking services. Through online banking, you can get your account details, transfer money and also make bill payments by visiting the official website of the bank.
Apart from this, using the bank's mobile app, you can transact money, check account balance. During this time, you will also be able to use ATM service for withdrawing cash and other banking work. That is, due to the bank being closed, you will not be able to avail banking services like passbook update or check clearing.
Why are banks closed on second and fourth Saturdays?

Banks will remain closed in Himachal Pradesh on 29 April due to Lord Parshuram Jayanti.
Banks will remain closed in Karnataka on 30 April due to Basava Jayanti. Apart from this, there may also be a holiday on the festival of Akshaya Tritiya in some states.
