Tesco's top 10 2024 Christmas toys include seven under £20 and Bluey item

has released its top 10 toys for - and the good news for parents is that they are more affordable than ever.

In recent years, expensive electronic toys have pushed the average price of a main Christmas gift for youngsters well over the £50 mark. This has added financial pressures to parents who have struggled with the cost-of-living crisis.

But this year, toy experts from The Entertainer - who select products specifically for Tesco shoppers - have compiled the list not only on current popularity and desirability, but affordability too. Out of this year's top 10, seven items cost less than £20.

There's a wide range of products too, with traditional toys such as wooden train sets and racing car sets sitting alongside toys from popular TV shows such as Bluey. Tesco have also included toys that boost children's learning abilities and the trend for plushies is also covered such as Fugglers, fluffy monsters.
