Chelsea and Nottingham Forest played out an entertaining 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon. , Blues boss made 11 changes to his team to face Forest.

Despite impressing in midweek, there was to be no place in the team for Pedro Neto. , who also scored in the match against the Belgian side, unfortunately missed out on the matchday squad altogether.

The hosts did start brightly but were unable to create clear-cut chances on goal. Noni Madueke wasn't far away at all with a curling effort midway inside the first half, .

Only really threatening through a Murillo attempt in the first half, it was the visitors who opened the scoring as Chris Wood prodded in following Nikola Milenkovic's header from a long free-kick. Forest weren't in the lead for long, however, as Madueke restored parity with a low drive that have Matz Sels no chance.

The visitors were reduced to ten men in the final 15 minutes after James Ward-Prowse received a second yellow card following a blatant handball. Chelsea pushed for a winner and really should have scored a second in stoppage time after substitute Joao Felix headed wide from Neto's cross, before Christopher Nkunku headed at Sels following Mykhailo Mudryk's cross.

Here is how we rated the Chelsea players against Nottingham Forest:

Robert Sanchez

Very little to do before Murillo forced him into a good save with a powerful effort from distance. Unable to get a hand to the ball to keep out Wood's opening goal but produced two incredible saves in stoppage time from Neco Williams' effort from close range and then right at the death from Jota Silva. 8

Malo Gusto

Got into the final third plenty of times and curled one effort wide of the target. Produced a great block on Gibbs-White midway inside the second half as the Forest attacker looked set to test Sanchez. 6

Wesley Fofana

Always going to be in for a tough afternoon with Wood leading the line but was solid throughout. 7

Levi Colwill

Made some important challenges in the first half, including one to deny Ryan Yates just before the interval. So comfortable on the ball and developing into an excellent player at the heart of Maresca's side. 8

Marc Cucurella

Up against former Chelsea man Callum Hudson-Odoi and handled him well for the most part. Was fouled by Williams late on and that resulted in a scuffle in front of the Chelsea dugout. 6

Moises Caicedo

Booked on 20 minutes for a late tackle on Morgan Gibbs-White and was walking a bit of a tightrope after that. Another solid showing from the player, who shot wide early in the second half. 6

Enzo Fernandez

Captained the side once again and involved in a lot of good play moving forward in the opening 45 minutes. Saw an effort saved just prior to the break and was replaced in the final ten minutes. 7

Noni Madueke

Shot wide following some good movement early on and wasn't too far off not long after with a curling effort following a sharp turn. Chelsea's brightest player in the first half with some excellent play down the right and deservedly got his name on the scoresheet with a low effort 12 minutes after the restart. Strong showing from the winger. 8

Cole Palmer

Fresh from his four-goal haul against Brighton & Hove Albion last time out, tried to make things happen but Forest made life very difficult for him. Went agonisingly close to scoring just before half-time but his shot trickled against the post and didn't quite go over the line. Used the ball well at times and was denied twice by Sels in the closing minutes of the contest. 7

Jadon Sancho

Positive start from the winger as he sent Ryan Yates to the floor with a lovely swivel of the hips and caused issues for ex-Chelsea man Ola Aina. Some good runs at times down the left side but couldn't have a major say on the game in the end. 6

Nicolas Jackson

Very little fell his way in the first half and gave away the free-kick that led to Nottingham Forest's goal after pushing his opponent to the ground. Had a chance on goal in the second half but couldn't get an attempt away as he instead elected to pick out a teammate on the edge of the area. Frustrating afternoon for him with little coming off for the striker in a quiet display. 5
