The has, reportedly, cancelled an emergency meeting between two clubs to discuss the outcome of the legal dispute with Manchester City. The meeting was called after rulings were published last week.
City and the Premier League appeared to claim victory in the case with their respective statements. The panel did, however, rule that .
Following that judgement, the Premier League were hoping for a quick resolution to the problem and organised a meeting that was due to take place on Thursday. However, according to , that it has now been cancelled following the postponement of two other key meetings.
Clubs were, reportedly, informed on Monday night that planned talks with the division's legal advisory group and financial controls advisory groups had been cancelled. The meetings were due to take place on Tuesday and were crucial ahead of the proposed emergency gathering two days later.
Therefore, Thursday's meeting has now been shelved. It's expected that it will take place on another date, though, but when exactly that might actually be remains unclear.
The delay of the meeting could, therefore, leave clubs including , and in limbo over the implementation of the APT rules. The original ruling restricted deals that clubs could do with companies associated with their ownership.

There was also expected to be talks surrounding shareholder loans. Arsenal are a club that would be significantly impacted if there are any changes to the rules around such loans, that City used as part of their argument against the APT rules during their battle with the Premier League.
