Dragons' Den star Sara Davies looks incredible after dropping three dress sizes.

The plucky businesswoman, 40, has shown off her impressive body transformation after revealing what lifestyle changes she made to lose weight.

Admitting she was "mortified" while on the BBC show when she had to "size up" her dresses, Sara has gone from a size 16 to a size 12, with fans flocking to Instagram to tell her how good she looks.

Sharing snaps of herself at business festival PeakeFest, Sara looked gorgeous in a floor length multicoloured frock with her honey blonde hair worn poker straight as she took to the stage. Her followers were bowled over by the stunning snaps, with one gushing: "Wow! You look amazing!"

Earlier this year, the entrepreneur revealed how she dropped three dress sizes after a ‘mortifying’ moment on the set of Dragons' Den, revealing that cutting out sugar helped with her weight loss transformation.

Speaking to Closer, Sara said: "I had to size up in all my clothes, and I was mortified. It was the biggest size I’d ever been wearing, and it really got to me. I stopped having chocolate and cakes, but also cut back on carbs and ate more veg than fruit,” she said. Sara also made the decision to stop drinking alcohol and reduce her sugar intake, even when on a night out with the fellow Dragons.

She explained: "During filming we go for dinner as a pack of Dragons, and Peter Jones has very nice, expensive taste in wine, but I feel so much better for cutting it out."

Speaking about her milestone birthday, she concluded: "It was my 40th birthday in April and I wanted to be the fittest I’d been since I was 30. I’ve spent half my life sucking myself into Spanx, and now it’s bloody lovely to put on a dress and not have two pairs on underneath!"

Earlier this year, Sara spoke candidly to the Mirror about the pressures of being a business owner as she revealed her Crafter’s Companion company was battling losses.

The £37 million arts and crafts business, which was devised from an idea in the TV star's university bedroom, is struggling with the cost of living crisis and effects of Brexit. On Dragons Den, Sara dishes out money and advice to ailing businesses. But her Crafter’s Companion online firm, which supplies products to more than 30 countries was £1million in the red last October and was due to file further losses in April.

Sara, who was hiring experts as part of a multi-million pound restructure, including a new CEO who specialises in digital retail, told the Mirror: “I’m just going to be really honest, it has been a rough couple of years. And I kind of don’t want to shy away from that because I always feel, especially with my role on Dragons’ Den, I’ve got that responsibility of being a bit of a role model. I’ve had to work harder than I ever have in my life.”
